SR. ELECTRICAL TEST ENGINEER IN REDMOND, WA

This position works in a lab environment on new innovative products for the consumer electronics space. You will work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements. Someone who loves to be hands-on with an analytical and inquisitive mind would work well in this position. This role will require regular time on-site and is not open to fully remote work.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSEE, BSME, or BSCS required.
- 5+ years of professional hands-on electro-mechanical or electrical test experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in creating, executing, analyzing, and reporting on hardware testing.
- Experience using lab equipment like o-scopes, dmm’s, programmable power supplies, etc.
- Experience in board bring up, system bring-up and validation.
- Experience with battery testing.
- Knowledge of power delivery and PMIC characterization.
- Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in schematic capture, PCB design, system bring-up, and validation.
- Experience using lab equipment and soldering components down to 0402.
- Familiar with CAD tools like Altium, OrCAD, and Allegro.
- Knowledge of I2C, SPI, I3C, PCIe, USB, DSI, CSI.
- Experience working with SoC, cameras, and sensors.
- Experience with embedded systems.
- Experience with writing test scripts using Python.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Experience with design of experiments (DOE).
- Experience with Familiar Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a bonus.
