ABA Homecare, LLC is currently hiring for the following positions.

We cover 7 counties Dekalb, Gwinnett, Henry, Fayette, Newton, Rockdale & Spaulding

Pay: $11-$17 per hour depending on position and experience

CNA Responsibilities

• Help clients with daily activities, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, serving meals, helping clients eat, turning clients and ambulating clients
• Take vital signs
• Examine clients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Provide and empty bedpans
• Lift clients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.
• Clean and sanitize client areas, including changing bed sheets
• Stay up-to-date on CNA training, policies and procedures

PCA Responsibilities

•Help clients with daily activities, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, serving meals, helping clients eat, turning clients and ambulating clients.

•Taking vital signs

•Examine clients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds

•Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members

•Provide and empty bedpans

•Lift clients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.

•Clean and sanitize client areas, including changing bed sheets

•Stay up-to-date on PCA training, policies and procedures

Requirements

•High school diploma or GED

PCA – Completion of training program and competency

•Current CPR

•Good communication skills and bedside manner, compassionate personality, sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly

•Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

Companion Sitter Responsibilities

•Engaging clients by conversing with them and planning and attending to them as they participate in appropriate social activities and hobbies

•Handling basic housekeeping, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, organizing and laundry

•Planning and preparing meals for clients, taking dietary restrictions, and preferences into consideration

•Taking a genuine interest in clients by listening to their needs, ensuring that their environment is clean and safe, and providing them with proper food and medication

•Monitoring clients, recording and reporting any developments or concerns to appropriate parties, such as company supervisors, doctors, or family members

•Driving clients to planned outings or events

•Handling errands for or with the clients, such as grocery shopping, paying bills, writing letters, etc.

•Providing emotional support for clients as they heal or cope with their conditions

Companion Sitter Requirements

•High school diploma or GED

•Any additional education, experience, specific skills or interests, or training may be preferred

•Valid driver’s license

•Strong communication, listening, planning, housekeeping and reasoning skills

•Ability to handle physical demands, such as lifting or supporting clients and standing, walking, bending, or crawling for extended periods

•First Aid/CPR (Nurse training may be a plus)

•Caring, sympathetic approach to working with clients

•Willingness to follow directions and adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and dietary, exercise and medication plans
