Job Title: Sound Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a sound engineer who can help take public perception of our government customer to the next level.
The purpose of this position is to support the development and implementation of innovative audio technologies for the government customer.
Responsibilities Include:
+ Ensuring high quality recording and production of sound products related Public Affairs projects
+ Performing audio recording, processing, and mixing
+ Providing understanding of next gen console audio functionality and capabilities
+ Contribute to all aspects of sound design, implementation, post-production, and audio engineering
Required Qualifications and Skills:
+ Bachelor's degree in sound engineering or 2 years of experience as a sound engineer or in related field
+ A strong sense of sound engineering with a strong portfolio
+ Audio recording, processing, and mixing skills
+ Understanding of next gen console audio functionality and capabilities
+ Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Work Setting and Environment:
+ Monday - Friday, normal business hours
+ Work is to be performed at 1st Cavalry Division Headquarters, Building 28000, Battalion Ave., Fort Hood, Texas
+ On-site federal contractors, in federal buildings or on federal lands must comply with CDC guidelines with respect to wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and other public health measures
