Position Summary:

The Test Systems Manager is responsible for the supervision of employees, and projects relating to the test stand procedures, and must comply with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards.

Position Responsibilities :

Support the Global Test group to establish test standards and specifications.
Supervises all projects relating to the test stands.
Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity standards.
Responsible for development and adherence to the policies, procedures, and instructions of Quality Management Systems (QMS) as related to end-of-line testing.
Develop the capability and capacity of the end of line test stand equipment including recommending maximum utilization of equipment and Client.
Develops and maintains the Test Engineering Department, including hiring, firing, training, accountability, and rewarding of employees in the group.
Recommends and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Organizes work for smooth operations including reviewing Client and equipment requirements based on production needs and line efficiency.
Assures that established policy, rules, and regulations, and procedures are followed.
Troubleshoots problems and facilitates problem-solving teams.
Assist in feasibility reviews and quote process of new programs.
Lead R&D development for future programs by determining test and communication protocols.
Provides regular status reports and updates to Customer's Engineering Department Management as to progress on test projects and launches.

Position Requirements :

Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to operate Microsoft Office- excel, word, PowerPoint, and other data base software applications.

Additional Preferences:

Have a working knowledge of transmissions, drive lines, or engines.
Have worked with equipment supported by VMC or WMA.
Knowledge of National Instruments software LabView and Test stand
Willing to travel domestically and internationally to support customers and other company locations.

REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:
If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days , depending on customer payment terms.
