Customer Service Representative

SUMMARY: Our Customer Service Representative positions act as a liaison between McDaniel Metals, LLC, and our customers. This position must professionally handle all order requests and detailed account inquiries. COMPANY OVERVIEW: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: MDM specializes in fabricating aftermarket HVAC components using sheet metal and a variety of equipment such as CNC Lasers, Panel Benders, Automated Coil lines, CNC Press Brakes, Spot Welders, etc. We maintain a combined manufacturing facility of 160,846 sq. ft.; featuring 4 facilities. We are looking for candidates for our Customer Service Representative positions who are efficient in the following: • Using multifunction phone systems: Answering calls directly from customers who have existing accounts and or who are wanting to establish business with McDaniel Metals, LLC • Must be able to use software systems to maintain customer accounts, provide sales quotes, assist with placement and inquiry of orders, process order entries and relay important information to the client regarding component warranty and terms of sale • Coordinate with engineering, management, production crew leads, and the shipping department to ensure that all customer requests and time deadlines can be properly fulfilled. • Must maintain reliability, possess time management skills, and be detailed oriented as multi-tasking to complete daily workloads is required and may be on a scheduled or time sensitive basis SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: OVERALL EXPECTATION: The Customer Service Representative will be required to possess the following: • High School Diploma or Equivalent • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Xcel, Word, Outlook • Knowledge of multifunction phone systems McDaniel Metals, LLC carries the expectation that our Customer Service Representatives will maintain all sales accounts and handle inquiries and customer order requests with professionalism whether over the phone, via email or in person
