Head Pediatric RN for PPEC Medical Daycare

Immediate position for Florida Licensed, pediatric RN to be head nurse at medical day care center in Pine Hills area. Must have 2+ years recent direct patient care of medically fragile babies and children. Must have recent experience supervising and leading caregivers.
Qualities expected: professional appearance, positive attitude, organized, able to work in fast paced environment, smoke free, leadership skills.

Duties Include: Open the center, clinically access patients as they arrive and as needed throughout the day, assigning case load to other nurses and caregivers, providing direct care as needed, collaborate with therapists and educational staff, discuss care matters with parents, contact physicians as needed, create plans of care and update orders and related clinical documents, keep center on schedule and oversee care being provided. Manage staff performance. Solid computer skills and able to work in EHR system.

Skills expected: excellent communication with parents and caregivers, clinical skills necessary to oversee trachs, suctioning, pulse ox, apnea monitor, 02, seizure precautions, feeding tubes, etc.

Center hours are 6a-6p, Monday-Friday. No weekends. No holidays. Head RN works 4 12s per week. Salaried position $75,712 yearly, vacation, health benefits, bonus potential.
