Job Description
Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search, a Hispanic Women Owned & Operated National Recruiting Firm stands at the forefront of innovation and excellence. Led by a visionary team with a deep commitment to diversity and inclusion, our firm is dedicated to identifying and attracting top talent across the nation. With a unique blend of cultural insight and professional expertise, we pride ourselves on creating an environment that fosters success for both employers and candidates.

The Investment Management practice group at our client's law office seeks to hire an associate with two to seven years of experience working with institutional investors. The attorney(s) would join a team of well-qualified attorneys and paralegals that provide highly effective and sophisticated counsel on a broad range of traditional and alternative investment transactions to public and private pension funds, high-wealth individuals and family offices, private and public endowments, universities, sovereign entities, and insurance companies.

Their diverse and dedicated team represents many of the country’s largest and most well-established institutional investors. The Investment Management practice is cross-disciplinary, and team members often work with other core practice groups in the firm, resulting in one of the most active investment management practices in the U.S.

The ideal candidate will be able to process large complex documents, have excellent attention to detail, manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously, be a very good communicator and negotiator, and be comfortable working as part of a team or independently.

At our client's firm, you will work with attorneys and staff motivated by excellent client service. You will find resources and mentors to help you grow professionally and work with a team that values everyone’s contributions. You will also be encouraged to work on pro bono and public service matters. The Firm has a track record of litigating significant pro bono cases that protect the rights of some of society’s most vulnerable people.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are core values at our client's firm and enhance their ability to provide clients with innovative, creative, and collaborative advocacy. The Opportunity & Progress Council (OPC) guides our client’s actions in these important areas by executing the Firm’s strategic initiatives aimed at breaking down institutional and cultural barriers to diversity, equity, and inclusion and creating a shared environment where everyone can do their best work together.
