Job Description
The following outlines the duties involved in performing inspection functions at a repair station, in accordance with the Repair Station Quality Control Manual. It is essential to ensure familiarity with all pertinent data, including Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer's procedures, and recommendations, as it relates to the task or item of work being performed. In addition, all incoming products procured for use by the Repair Station must be accepted and checked for approval or acceptability. Preliminary inspections are required for all aircraft and/or components undergoing maintenance to determine the state of preservation, need for functional testing, and to document any obvious defects. All completed work and work orders must be inspected thoroughly, and inspection entries on forms and work orders used in the Repair Station must be accurately recorded. Progressive and ongoing inspections must be made at various stages of teardown, overhaul, and repair of all aircraft or components received by the Repair Station for service or inspection. Completed work orders/workbooks must be checked for the work performed. Scheduled and systematic evaluation audits must be performed for the Repair Station, Approved Vendors, and Approved Maintenance Facilities to ensure their abilities and procedural compliance with RSQCM and GMM policy and guidance. Technical training and assistance must be provided to others. Maintenance Control duties for the 135 Charter must also be provided. Reviewing the General Maintenance Manual, Manufacturers' Manuals, publications, AAIP's and specific (RII) items, if applicable, is essential to maintain a high level of knowledge and proficiency to accomplish RII Inspections. Ensuring that all manufacturers' technical service documentation and maintenance procedures are in order is necessary to ensure continued airworthiness of the assigned aircraft. Projected due lists for 135/Managed aircraft must be reviewed, and aircraft status updates provided to the Director of Maintenance on a regular basis. The development of aircraft 135 conformity packages is an additional responsibility

QualificationsTo be considered for the position, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of an A&P license
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience or factory training on Challenger 300/350, Citation XLS, Hawker 900XP, Bell 206, 407, and 429 preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate aviation
- Minimum of 5 years of inspection experience
- IA certification is preferred
- RII experience and qualification
- Experience in an FAA Part 145 and 135 environment is required.

Education/Licensure
To apply for this job, you need to have a High School diploma or a General Education Degree (GED). If you have an Associate degree in Aviation Technology, it would be considered a plus. Additionally, you should have good verbal and interpersonal communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues. Basic computer skills are also required, and experience in aviation maintenance software programs would be preferred, especially Flightdocs. Lastly, you should hold a valid driver's license.
