Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Ecommerce Account Manager to join our ecommerce team. This individual will play a key role in managing relationships with top-tier major brands in the ecommerce sector, driving sales growth, and leading strategic initiatives to maximize market share. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce and B2B sales, project management and negotiation, with a proven track record of success in managing, and selling to, key accounts.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Account Performance: Drive sales and increase overall performance of your B2B account portfolio, including top-tier major brands such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Wayfair, Crate and Barrel, etc., along with overall ecommerce category growth, aiming to meet or exceed revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Lead Generation and Follow Up: Attend trade shows, follow up with existing leads, and call on target industry businesses to establish new relationships and sales channels. Travel to meet with customers and prospects, from time to time, for product training, and program presentations and negotiations.
  • Strategic Category Planning: Support the development and execution of a category plan that ensures a best-in-class customer experience, featuring a strong product assortment, competitive pricing, high in-stock rates, and optimized delivery speeds.
  • Data Analysis and Execution: Utilize analytical tools to assess data, identify market trends, and implement key initiatives to support strategic objectives. Key performance metrics include revenue, price competitiveness, product availability, conversion rates, and inventory turnover.
  • Customer Development: Identify and cultivate new opportunities for customers to broaden their product assortment and escalate their business growth, focusing on enhancing relationships with top-tier major brands.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Forge robust partnerships across various departments to ensure synergy and streamlined workflows, enhancing merchandising strategies, promotional activities, marketing efforts, product trends, pricing, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Customer Negotiations: Establish and maintain strong customer relationships and negotiate terms ensuring premium customer experiences and competitive advantages. It also involves conducting thorough contract analysis, scrutinizing partner agreements to identify potential operational issues and ensure alignment with strategic objectives, particularly focusing on pricing, delivery, and product assortment terms.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field (Associate's degree with relevant work experience will also be considered).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ecommerce sales and B2B sales, with a proven track record of managing and growing sales with top-tier major brands.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word, with the ability to conduct detailed analysis and communicate insights effectively.
  • Exceptional at interpreting complex data and making strategic decisions. Skilled in simplifying and presenting complex information through emails, charts, and presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and collaborate with colleagues from various departments.
  • Self-motivated and curious, with a strong sense of empathy and compassion.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Openness to travel and adapt work hours as needed for trade shows and business demands.
  • Excellent computer skills, preferably in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, including NetSuite and CommerceHub, is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with major brands in the home and outdoor living categories.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Knowledge of promotional program implementation and execution.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and data analytics tools.
