Job Purpose & Impact
The AI Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining custom AI solutions that elevate the AnswerLabbers' work experience. This role is pivotal in optimizing AI solutions to streamline operations, improve decision-making, and facilitate innovative strategies for business growth.

Job Responsibilities

This position requires a blend of strong technical expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning frameworks, and programming languages like Python alongside practical experience in designing and implementing AI solutions to meet business needs.

• Design and develop AI solutions that meet the specific needs of the business, considering scalability, performance, and cost.
  Integrate AI solutions into existing company systems and platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency, translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Evaluate 3rd party AI platforms to determine if they can address the needs of the business.
• Build prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of AI solutions and refine these based on feedback.
• Oversee the testing of AI systems to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
• Maintain and optimize existing AI systems, conducting regular reviews to enhance performance and adapt to changing requirements.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in generative AI, natural language processing, and machine learning, applying new techniques and technologies where beneficial.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, contributing to the development of AI expertise within the company.
• Conduct data analysis and preprocessing to prepare data sets for model training and validation.
• Design intricate prompts that effectively communicate the task at hand to AI models, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and specificity against a range of inputs like text, audio, and video.
• Develop and maintain documentation for AI systems and processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for future reference and compliance purposes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI implementations.
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners to leverage third-party AI technologies and services.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and contribute to the strategic direction of AI initiatives within the company.

Key Relationships

• Reports to the SVP of Operations
• Works closely with AI Product Manager, employees, and external vendors as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We understand that outstanding candidates can come from a variety of backgrounds. While specific experience is important, we are ultimately looking for candidates who have the personal characteristics to thrive in a growing client-focused business. The ideal candidate will likely meet many or most of the job criteria listed below.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of programming with Python, Go, Scala, R, Java, JavaScript, and other programming languages commonly used in AI and machine learning.
• Expert level understanding of generative AI, natural language processing, and ML principles, algorithms, data processing, and model evaluation is crucial - must be able to understand how AI technologies work and their limitations.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing AI models and algorithms.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Keras).
• Solid understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation tools such as SQL, pandas, or NumPy.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of deploying AI models in a cloud environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest AI research and technologies.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices and data privacy standards.
