Job Description:

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to support cloud modernization and data center transformation initiatives for a Texas state agency.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing cloud and hybrid environments, leading technical initiatives, and implementing scalable, secure cloud solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design cloud architecture, infrastructure, and technical solutions.
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
  • Work with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
  • Implement Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD solutions.
  • Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments.
  • Support APIs, microservices, serverless infrastructure, and cloud integrations.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of cloud/technology architecture experience.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, LAC, and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, governance, monitoring, and compliance.
  • Experience with automation using Ansible, PowerShell/Bash, YAML, JSON, or HCL.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
