General Dentist or Endodontist

We are looking for one full-time general dentist and one part-time endodontist to work 3-4 times per month in our office.

Job Summary

• Examines, diagnoses, and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums.

General Accountabilities

• Uses masks, gloves, and safety glasses to protect patients and self from infectious diseases.
• Understands HIPAA and OSHA rules.
• Examines teeth, gums, and related tissues to evaluate dental health, diagnose diseases or abnormalities, and plan appropriate treatments.
• Administers anesthetics to patients during procedures to limit pain.
• Performs preventive care and evaluates dental needs to determine changes or trends in patterns of dental disease.
• Advises patients on preventive dental care.
• Performs dental procedures in accordance with the approved treatment plan.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Doctoral degree from accredited dental school
• Experience: >1 year experience preferred but will consider new graduates from dental school
• License: Must have or be willing to obtain a Rhode Island dentist license
