We are working with a client looking for a data analyst that has worked heavily with oil/gas data. This person will be looking at well-specific data including pressures, temperatures, gas volumes, etc.

Required:

• 3+ years of experience as a data analyst
• SQL and SSRS
• PowerBI
• Flowcal
• Understanding of gas analysis
• Background with measurement analyst and/or production accounting data

Day to Day:

• Develops data, reporting, and dashboarding solutions by studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
• Create reports/dashboards to assist with timely/efficient company decisions
• Continually assess systems, processes, and previously developed solutions to find opportunities for improvements.
• Maintains integrity of meter and volume information in measurement data system for assigned assets.
• Creates, reviews, and distributes various reports needed to validate the accuracy of measurement data.
• Provides meter factor trending by system with explanation of factors with variance for assigned assets.
• Possesses an understanding of gas measurement field practices, sampling and analysis, metering principles and measurement technology.
• Imports and evaluates meter proving, meter calibrations and gas analyses to ensure data quality and conformance with contractual obligations.
• Ensures daily and monthly volumes are validated and closed in a timely manner for uploading into accounting database.
• Troubleshoots measurement deficiencies with supervisor, field personnel and accounting groups.
