Position Summary: As a Senior Vice President, Director of Integrated Marketing within the Triumph Financial organization, you will be responsible for driving results by conceptualizing and implementing brand and reputational awareness campaigns, cross sell/upsell sales enablement tactics, lead nurture and activation/onboarding campaigns and lead funnel optimization. You will work closely with sales and operations teams, manage B2B, B2C and B2B2C marketing programs, launch and manage email automation programs, and develop compelling content and messaging.

This role will heavily support the TriumphPay business line. TriumphPay is a division of TBK Bank and the preeminent FinTech payment platform for the trucking industry.  We provide frictionless presentment, audit, and payment experiences for brokers, factors and carriers. Triumph Pay is an innovative leader in serving the transportation industry through banking, payments and lending products and services. As a seasoned leader, the SVP Integrated of Marketing will leverage strategic skills, seamless cross-functional partnerships and executive-level influence, inspiring data-driven customer (seller) empathy and a bias for speed in action and results.
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Devise, launch and optimize marketing automation programs and experiments to increase lead conversion, bring more marketing qualified leads (MQLs) into the sales funnel, increase newly boarded client activation rates, and improve the onboarding experience (in partnership with the Marketing Ops team, Martech/IT team, and others who will help with execution).

  • Develop content for use in content-driven lead generation and nurture programs (both directly and by working with internal and external agencies).

  • Form deep understanding of our sales funnel and customer journey, and develop recommendations to improve our marketing programs and how we bring products to market based on this understanding.

  • Launch advanced lead scoring in partnership with Marketing Analytics, Sales and other functions.

  • Closely track sales channel performance, activation rates, and more; Develop and run with recommendations to achieve goals. Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, IT, Marketing, Legal, Compliance etc. to generate sales enablement collateral for internal and external.  This includes deliverables like battle cards, product sheets, and competitor comparisons for internal use, and white papers and webinars for external use.

  • Strategize with the sales team to design and deliver comprehensive sales enablement Ensure the Sales team is well-equipped with the content and information needed to engage customers throughout the buying process.

  • Own the business outcomes and communicate regular updates to leadership through ongoing reporting.

Experience & Education

  • 10+ years of business experience leading marketing strategy development and cross-functional execution.

  • Experience devising and managing B2B acquisition and/or engagement/lifecycle marketing programs, ideally targeting all segments, small, medium and enterprise businesses.

  • Previous experience working closely with inside sales teams – You are a relationship builder who can embed themselves into the sales organization. Best in class Sales and channel enablement and messaging craft.

  • Help Sales leads and teams acquire relevant and current customer insights to guide the sales approach, including defining target customer profiles, determining benefit and differentiation, and developing sales assets.

  • Experience using sellers/customers insights and data to inform the development of winning Sales enablement strategy and translating it into actionable plans. Lead scoring experience.

  • Previous experience launching and managing email automation programs, such as lead nurture and lifecycle marketing campaigns (as the strategic lead, not necessarily the implementation lead).

  • Experience leading a Thought Leadership agenda and customer advisory boards.

  • Experience with content development – You are an incredible storyteller and copywriter, who can take product, customer, and business information and turn it into compelling content and messaging.

  • Experience with email marketing channel and email automation tools / platforms (e.g., Marketo, SalesForce).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

  • Ability to identify big insights by synthesizing inputs from multiple data sources to unlock growth opportunities and developing the business cases and activation plans to support

  • Analytically minded with a natural curiosity and interest in experimentation and constant iteration and improvement.

  • Strong creative problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills; storyteller.

  • Team player with a strong work ethic. Demonstrates considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment with ability to build/maintain effective interpersonal relationships.

  • High level of maturity and stability with an "optimistic" approach .

  • A self-starter able to be both entrepreneurial and strategic in approach with hands-on experience.

  • Able to prioritize and collaboratively make decisions by getting to the root of what will drive the most impact and separating signal vs. noise.

  • Experienced in working with creative agencies to develop outstanding content.

  • Customer centric mindset with the ability to predict how customers will react to various content and messaging.

  • Thrive in an environment that is one part big company and one part startup .

  • Hands on experience with Marketo is a plus but not required.
