Vertical Works Inc./Utopian Villas is currently seeking experienced Builders/Carpenters to join our team.

This position is for someone who has high passions for all phases of residential construction and looking for year-round work. This can range from rough framing, mechanicals, exterior siding and roofing, as well as cabinetry and finish trim. We have been around for 15+ years in the southeastern Wisconsin area and just recently moved to a larger facility in Mt. Pleasant, WI to continue building our homes both big and small. We take pride in our work and most importantly with our customers! We have listed below some further details about this position.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity.
• Job site travel may be required but very limited.

Qualifications:

• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Residential experience, 5+ years.
• The ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Time management skills to ensure we stay on task to meet production goals.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.
• Reliable & motivated.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all employees and management.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch.
• Must be comfortable working on ladders.
• Knowledge of general tools and equipment required for residential construction.
• 90 Day probationary period.
