What is a tiny home builder?

Tiny Home builders are professionals or companies that specialize in designing and constructing small, efficient living spaces commonly known as tiny homes. These builders focus on maximizing functionality and comfort within a compact footprint, often using innovative layouts and space-saving solutions. Tiny home builders may offer custom designs, pre-built models, or DIY kits, catering to those seeking affordable, sustainable, or minimalist lifestyles. Their expertise includes knowledge of local building codes, off-grid options, and integrating eco-friendly materials. Working with a reputable tiny home builder can help ensure your home is safe, legal, and tailored to your needs.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a tiny home builder?

To thrive as a Tiny Home Builder, you need expertise in carpentry, construction, and basic electrical and plumbing systems, often supported by vocational training or apprenticeships. Familiarity with power tools, building codes, and design software like SketchUp is crucial for efficient and compliant builds. Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills help you customize small spaces and overcome unique challenges. These skills ensure safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing tiny homes that meet client needs and legal standards.

What are common challenges faced by professionals working in the tiny home industry?

Professionals in the tiny home industry often encounter challenges related to zoning laws, building codes, and limited space constraints. Navigating local regulations to ensure compliance can be complex and may require ongoing communication with authorities. Additionally, creatively maximizing functionality within a compact footprint is essential, demanding strong problem-solving and design skills. Collaboration with clients, builders, and suppliers is frequent, as each project is highly customized and requires close teamwork to meet unique needs and expectations.

Do you want to make a real difference in people’s lives?
Do you believe homeownership should be easy, affordable, and attainable? If you’re passionate about helping people find innovative housing solutions, this opportunity is for you.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Manufactured & Tiny Home park model  Sales Consultant to help customers discover modern, affordable housing options. You will guide buyers through the exciting world of manufactured homes, fully customizable homes, tiny home park models, and ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) homes.

This role is perfect for someone who believes in tiny house living, smart design, and flexible housing solutions—and enjoys helping customers turn that vision into reality.

What You’ll Do

  • Help customers achieve homeownership through affordable, customizable housing
  • Educate buyers on tiny home living, park models, ADUs, and manufactured homes
  • Showcase homes and explain customization options, layouts, and features
  • Guide customers through the purchasing steps
  • Build strong relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Follow up with leads and manage your sales pipeline
  • Represent a housing solution that truly changes lives

Why This Job Matters

  • You help families, retirees, and first-time buyers own a home they can afford
  • You promote simpler living, lower costs, and smarter housing choices
  • You sell homes that are modern, energy-efficient, and customizable

What We’re Looking For

  • Sales experience preferred (housing, real estate, RV, or retail is a plus)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Passion for affordable housing, tiny homes, or alternative living
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and customer-focused
  • Comfortable working at our dealership or out at home sites

What We Offer

  • Competitive commission or commission + base pay structure
  • Training on manufactured homes, tiny homes, and ADUs, and sales
  • A meaningful career helping people achieve the home ownership dream
  • Growth opportunities in a fast-growing housing market

If you’re excited about tiny home living, manufactured homes, and making a difference, this is more than a sales job. It’s a chance to change lives.

Apply today and help make homeownership possible for everyone.
