Zero Turn Mower Operator

GT Solar, a reputable company in the Solar FIeld Energy industry, is seeking a Zero Turn Mower Operator to join our Solar Maintenance Operations. This is a seasonal position suitable for anyone, offering a salary range of $150 to $250 per day. The employee will work 2 to 3 days a week, 8-12 hours a day, depending on the job. Locations may vary, varying around the state of Colorado.

Responsibilities:

• Operate zero turn mower in Solar Fields

• Ensure careful operation of equipment around solar modules

• Assist in maintenance and repairs of equipment

Requirements:

• Must possess a reliable vehicle to meet at jobs or a predetermined location

• Must be able to work from sun-rise to sun-set if needed

• Must be able to travel on overnight trips if needed

Qualifications:

• Basic skill & communication ability 

• Prior experience operating equipment preferred but not required

Additional Information:

Employees will be working 2 to 3 days a week, 8-12 hours a day, depending on the job. Locations may vary, covering the whole state of Colorado. Must have a reliable form of transportation to meet us at jobs or a predetermined location. Any trip that requires overnight stay will be notified ahead of time and a hotel room will be reserved. Overall the work is pretty simple. We will be arriving at solar farms averaging around 15 acres and will be using Hustler 104 inch zero turns to mow them. You will be required to wear appropriate PPE including a hard hat, gloves, ear protection, and face mask. You will be able to take a 30 minute lunch break. We usually start around 7-9 am depending on the site's location and finish around 5-6 pm but with the uncertainty of some factors will need someone that is available at sunrise to sundown on days that we are working.  Feel free to contact us with any questions.
