Our mission is to provide quality dentistry for infants, children, and adolescents in a child-friendly, safe, and state-of-the-art environment. As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you should be able to manage, predict and adapt to an ever-changing, busy schedule. In addition, you should have the ability to be flexible, kind, and empathetic towards patients and families while being a team player and helping wherever necessary. Ideally, you will hold dental x-ray certification and have experience with Nitrous Oxide and Non-IV Sedation experience however, we are willing to train the right person ( x-ray certification is highly preferred ). Everyday Tasks and Skills: Greeting and seating patients following strict COVID-19 guidelines. Preparing patients for treatment. Taking patient x-rays. Charting information in patient records. Quickly and efficiently flip and clean exam rooms while assisting in the sterilization center. Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, and preparing materials. Providing excellent patient care. Stocking dental supplies and maintaining dental inventory. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1 year of Dental Assisting is preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Registered Dental Assistant. Dental x-ray certification highly preferred. Flexible: With schedule, hours, and ability to fill in when needed. Social: Communicative, positive, self-motivated, and punctual! COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: Personal protective equipment is provided and required. Plastic shield at all workstations. Temperature screenings and COVID-19 health screenings for all patients and family members. Social distancing guidelines in place. Sanitizing, disinfecting, and cleaning procedures are in place.
