Job Description
- Airframe License preferred
- 5-10 years' experience in aircraft structures and light composites.
- Aircraft component repair shop (MRO) supervisor/manager experience.
- Duties to include working components and leading a shop of mechanics.
- Extensive knowledge of sheet metal and composite principles, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to read, comprehend and adhere to manual instructions to resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Ability to train shop mechanics and new hires to perform regional and commercial aircraft structures and light composite repairs.
- Experiences hands on repair experience in regional and commercial aircraft structures including; engine cowls, thrust reversers, engine mounts, exhaust components and light composite flight controls.
- Knowledge/experience with shop ERP systems such as CORRIDOR, Quantum or Pentagon.
- Experience with regional and commercial aircraft CMM and SRM's as well as customer Engineering Orders.
- Must have strong leadership skills and business sense
- Ability to assess and add component shop capabilities a plus
