We are looking for an experienced Banquet and Events Sales Manager to join our vibrant family of restaurants in a unique location. Responsibilities:
- Solicite and seek out prospective clients for special events and banquets
- Attend Chamber and Convention Center meetings to drum up event sales
- Work with the client and Chef to create tastings and event menus
- Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events with complete oversite including scheduling
- Monitor food preparation to ensure our legacy of standards
- Work hand in hand with the service team to meet the highest of service standards
Maintain a profitable revenue stream through the controlling of COGs
- Draw up contracts between the company and client to engage business
- Work and manage shifts within the onsite cafe when no events are happening
Requirements:
- Restaurant management experience
- 2+ years of upscale banquet/catering/event sales
- A polished look and speaking to engage with the area's elite
- Ability to think on your toes and solve problems before they happen
