Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our property to provide residents with a high-quality living environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Operations: Conduct regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks to uphold property integrity and functionality.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, building codes, and company policies through routine inspections and timely resolution of any safety concerns.
• Budget Oversight: Assist in managing the maintenance budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment, tools, and supplies, and oversee inventory levels to support smooth maintenance operations.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, including on-call responsibilities, to ensure resident safety and satisfaction

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of property maintenance experience, preferably is a multifamily residential setting.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) or HVAC certification are advantageous.
