A Professional Engineering company that specializes in confirming structural integrity of goods being lifted or transported, is looking to add a Senior Surveyor/Inspector to their growing team of professionals.  

Salary: 110-140 DOE

Location: Katy, TX

Shift: 8-5 CST

Travel: High travel, up to 75%

Senior Surveyor

Roles and Responsibilities:
•    Perform structural and code compliance inspections of crane and runway systems supporting the general material handling industry
•    Expected to travel 75% of the time for site visits to support survey and inspection job scopes and collect data required for analysis. 
        Travel may occur on weekends and occasionally nights. 
o    Job preparation and scoping
o    Contact site focal point for mobilization readiness
o    Conduct and record Job Safety Analysis
o    Lead execution of job while onsite, may perform inspections independently.
o    Ensuring equipment is maintained and in good working condition
o    Generate field reports and review reports prior to issuing 
o    Support after action review and job closeout tasks. 
•    Projects will be located throughout continental United States, rarely out of country.
•    Candidate must be able to communicate with Site Focals and crane technicians effectively in the field to develop unique solutions and problem-solving skills.
•    It is expected that the candidate will be able to develop clear action plans for their projects and communicate updates regularly

Qualifications:
•    Certified Welding Inspector, highly preferred.
•    Prior NDT Certifications are preferred
•    Minimum 7-15+ years of either structural inspection or crane inspection experience required
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office programs for development of spreadsheets and presentation of formal findings report
•    Eligible to work in U.S. and available to work standard 8am to 5pm CST work week hours.
