Accounting Manager

DRIFT Aerospace is looking for a diligent, experienced Accounting Manager/Bookkeeper to perform a variety of financial tasks. These include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and financial statements during month-end close and for creating adjusting entries. 

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate and timely financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly and timely recorded.
• Preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flows, and other financial reports
• Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing adjusting journal entries
  
• Assisting with the month-end closing process, conducting research and making correcting journal entries for account discrepancies, preparing closing journal entries, and posting accrual entries
• Supporting accounts receivable and invoice entries as provided.
  
• Assisting with internal control evaluation
  

Qualifications and Skillset

• Minimum 2 years accounting experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.

Bonus/Preferred Requirements:

• Previous Aviation Experience
