POSITION OVERVIEW
Prepare, file and remit payment for monthly OTP excise tax for state authorities
RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Review of state sales tax returns
•
Renewal & research of state licenses
•
State tax law research
•
Reconciliation of tax accounts
•
Preparing destruction schedules and filing tax claims
•
Preparing monthly federal processed tobacco reports
•
Assist with preparation of 1099 forms
•
Preparation and review of state excise tax returns
REQUIREMENTS
•
3 years' experience in Account or Finance
•
Strong communications & organizational skills
•
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•
May be sitting and/or using computers for extended periods of time
