Job description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant Tax Professional to join our boutique CPA firm, serving high-net-worth, small business and entrepreneurial clients. This role is part of a full-service accounting team and reports directly to the Tax Manager and Partner. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of diverse tax return types and multi-state taxation, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review tax returns including 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 1041
  • Manage multi-state tax filings and compliance
  • Handle foreign income reporting forms such as 5471, 8621, and 8938
  • Conduct tax projections and detailed tax research

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in tax accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred
  • Proficiency with Lacerte tax software
  • Experience with BNA/Bloomberg tax research tools
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
