Tax Accountant
We are a full-service Certified Public Accounting and Business Consulting firm in Lake Forest seeking to fill a full-time staff tax accountant position.
Primary responsibility will be the preparation of individual, corporation, and partnership income tax returns. This includes the handling of tax correspondence from various government authorities and tax research. Other tasks may include the compilation of financial statements, preparation of gift, trust, fiduciary, and information returns, and bookkeeping in Quickbooks.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years tax preparation experience with a public accounting firm. CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Must have an attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills, and most importantly, an ability and desire to learn. We will train the right candidate in the areas in which you lack experience. Experience in ProSystems fx, ProSystems Engagement, and Quickbooks a plus.
