Job description

Monroeville PA Firm seeking Staff Accountant/Tax Preparer.

PT-Seasonal (may lead to FT) depending on applicant experience/availability (This is not a remote position).

Bachelor/Associate Degree in Accounting or related business field preferred.

Preferred: Relevant accounting/tax/business office experience, experience with Microsoft Office and Accounting Software (QuickBooks a plus), experience with tax preparation software (ProSeries a plus).

Will be required to apply accounting/tax preparation knowledge and skills to prepare information needed to timely file accurate tax returns and/or to assist clients in managing their businesses.

Will need to effectively communicate verbally and written, internally as well as to clients and other external contacts, allowing you to obtain information necessary to accurately prepare personal and business returns for Federal, State and Local agencies.

Wage/Salary commensurate with experience and availability. SIMPLE Pension Plan benefit.
