Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and conduct EMS education programs.
- Maintain records and documents.
- Monitor and participate in performance improvement activities.
- Develop multiple learning tools and activities to meet student needs.
- Complete program schedule for each program including but not limited to topic, appropriate objectives, and instructor and reading materials.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or from an approved U.S. Department of Transportation EMT- Paramedic Training Program.
Three years of critical care experience.
Current licensure as a paramedic or RN in the state of Illinois.
Licensed IDPH lead instructor within 1 year of employment.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers - CPR certification required.
Must obtain the following certifications within 3 years of employment:
- BLS Instructor
- ITLS Instructor
- ACLS Instructor
- PALS Instructor
