Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Full-Time, 45+ Hours per week

Work Hours (i.e. shift), 3:30PM-12AM, Second Shift

Beaudry Oil & Propane, a growing petroleum company, we are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with diesel engines and a strong desire to provide exceptional service to our customers and team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles. This position is responsible for both preventative maintenance and repairs on our growing fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles
• Troubleshoot and identify problems with diesel engines and vehicles
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair issues
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a diesel mechanic program or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicles
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines and repair light to heavy trucks and trailers
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Valid driver's license, Commercial Driver's Licenses is preferred, and reliable transportation
