Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Diesel Mechanic with 5+ years of hands-on experience servicing a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance across multiple systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and emissions.

Key Responsibilities

ยท Diagnose, estimate time needed, and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine issues on heavy-duty trucks and trailers (e.g., Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, Western Star)

ยท Service and troubleshoot emissions systems (EGR, DEF, SCR)

ยท Perform electrical diagnostics on wiring, sensors, ECMs, and control modules

ยท Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, fuel systems, and turbochargers

ยท Inspect and service suspension, braking, and steering systems

ยท Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime

ยท Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts usage

ยท Collaborate with dispatchers, drivers, and other mechanics to ensure timely repairs
