Job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair on diesel engines. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various types of diesel-powered vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The Diesel Technician will work independently and collaborating with other technicians to deliver high-quality service.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Conduct repairs that range from basic maintenance to in depth engine repair.
  • Perform heavy lifting as needed to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work orders.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience as a service technician or in a similar role focusing on diesel engines.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and automotive repair techniques.
