Job description

Job Title: Automotive Technician – Diesel & Gas

Location: Mass Diesel Performance, Bellingham, MA


Mass Diesel Performance is seeking a motivated Automotive Technician specializing in gas, light-duty diesel, or both. Join our clean, climate-controlled shop and work on routine maintenance, diagnostics, general repairs, and performance upgrades—from mild to wild.

Schedule & Employment:

  • Full-time or part-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • No weekends required; overtime available but optional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair gas and diesel engines
  • Perform routine services: oil changes, brakes, tires, engine/transmission work, wiring
  • Run and interpret diagnostic tests using factory and aftermarket equipment
  • Write detailed inspection reports and repair plans
  • Collaborate with fellow techs to ensure efficient, high-quality repairs
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and manufacturer updates

Qualifications:

  • Automotive experience required; diesel or gas engine experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused
  • General techs eager to grow in diesel or performance repair
