Diesel Technician - Certified (GM Dealership)
Modern Auto Company - Washington, MO 63090
Pay: $35-$45 per hour

Modern Auto Company - a Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC dealership - is looking for a fully trained and certified Diesel Technician to join our service team. If you have experience working on Duramax diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks and want steady work in a well-equipped shop, we'd like to talk with you.

Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, including GM Duramax platforms
  • Perform engine, fuel system, turbocharger, emissions, and drivability repairs
  • Use GM factory diagnostic tools and service information
  • Troubleshoot complex diesel performance and electrical concerns
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
  • Document work performed and communicate with service advisors
  • Follow all GM procedures and safety guidelines

Qualifications

  • Certified diesel technician (ASE and/or GM certification preferred)
  • Proven experience with diesel diagnostics and repair
  • Experience with Duramax engines strongly preferred
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
