Job Description

Responsible Diesel Mechanic needed for maintaining and servicing agricultural equipment. This position's responsibilities include maintenance work in a shop environment, as well as service in the field. This is a direct hire position.

Diesel Mechanic duties include:

Field service repair and maintenance
Crane operation
Welding
Adherence to company safety protocols
Effective communication and collaboration
Work with minimal supervision on assigned projects
Extended work hours when needed
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Diesel Mechanic basic qualifications:

Current class A CDL or ability to obtain
Some lifting may be required- up to 50 lbs
Must have experience with John Deere agricultural custom application equipment, including self propelled sprayers and spreaders.
Must have experience with John Deer service advisor
Must have strong electrical diagnostic abilities
Must possess ability to accurately diagnose problems and perform repairs
Must be willing to perform field service calls

Diesel Mechanic Pay rate: $75,000-$90,000 Depends on Experience

Diesel Mechanic hours out of season are 7:00 to 4:30.
In season we run longer hours and that ranges from 7:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. and we do work some Saturday’s and Sundays (on call).
