Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled B - A Level Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. This full-time position is ideal for a dedicated professional who possesses comprehensive knowledge of diesel engine systems, heavy-duty truck repair, and fleet maintenance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability.


As a B - A Level technician, you will work with minimal supervision, demonstrating advanced technical expertise and problem-solving abilities. This role requires someone who can handle complex repairs, mentor junior technicians, and maintain the highest standards of workmanship while adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.


Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic and Repair Functions

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulics, and other heavy-duty truck components using advanced diagnostic equipment and software
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on Class 4-8 commercial vehicles and heavy equipment
  • Conduct engine overhauls, including disassembly, inspection, machining coordination, reassembly, and testing of diesel engines
  • Repair and rebuild fuel injection systems, turbochargers, air intake systems, and exhaust systems including DPF and DEF systems
  • Diagnose and repair transmission issues, including manual, automatic, and automated manual transmissions
  • Perform brake system repairs and adjustments on air brake systems, including ABS troubleshooting
  • Repair and maintain suspension systems, steering components, and drivetrain assemblies

Fleet Maintenance Operations

  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs according to manufacturer recommendations and company standards
