LSPedia is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Manager for our IT and Support team. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and extensive leadership experience. As Senior Manager, IT and Support, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s IT systems and infrastructure, as well as leading our support team to ensure optimal service delivery to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance, installation, and continual operation of all IT infrastructure including hardware, software, network, and security systems.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals and support personnel to ensure efficient resolution of technical issues and requests.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and best practices for IT service management and operations.
  • Coordinate with different stakeholders for IT-related projects and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve business processes.
  • Manage the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
  • Oversee the management of the help desk, ensuring high-quality customer service for internal and external users.
  • Manage IT training and direct training to the support team.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure all IT requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to IT and cybersecurity.
  • Provide strategic direction

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT Management: Demonstrated experience overseeing IT infrastructure, managing teams, implementing policies, and coordinating projects. This could include previous roles as an IT manager, IT director, or similar positions.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in areas such as hardware, software, networking, security systems, and IT service management. Candidates should have a solid understanding of various IT technologies and their applications in a business environment.

  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of IT professionals and support personnel effectively. This includes skills in team building, coaching, performance management, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with different stakeholders, including executives, department heads, vendors, and end-users. This involves the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical audiences.

  • Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify opportunities to leverage technology for business improvement. Candidates should be adept at analyzing complex problems, developing innovative solutions, and providing strategic direction for IT initiatives.
