Part-Time Accountant

Currently, we are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis.

Job Description: As a Part-Time Accountant at Closet Factory, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks, experienced in running payroll, and familiar with submitting AIA pay applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and growth of our organization while enjoying flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare and submit AIA pay applications as required.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve any accounting discrepancies.
• Support the Finance department with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience working with QuickBooks and processing payroll.
• Familiarity with submitting AIA pay applications is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
