Michiana Mechanical is actively looking for a motivated Entry-Level HVAC Helper (Residential) in serving our clients in and around Michigan City, IN. We pay our apprentice service technicians $16-$20/hr, depending on skills, plus spiff bonuses! You will be joining a team of technicians and installers who work hard, have fun, and support each other. And, you will become part of a stable company that is respected in your community.

Assisting our experienced technicians and installers in the field, you learn how to properly troubleshoot, repair, and replace heating and air conditioning systems. They also teach you how to converse with customers, perform scheduled preventative maintenance, make service or product suggestions, and upgrade their HVAC systems. REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL HVAC HELPER & APPRENTICE

• A high school diploma or the eqiuvalent
• A clean driving record
• Can pass a background check
• Can pass a drug test
• Must be willing to work irregular and extended work hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call
• Some experience as a residential service technician is preferred
• A degree in Heating and Air Conditioning Technology degree is a plus!
