Recruiting Firm Riderflex has been hired by our client, Centralized Services to find a skilled QA/QC Technician for one of their Logistics clients!

Location: Marietta, GA
Reports to: QA/QC Manager and Operations Manager
Compensation: $20 to $22
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Flexible one-hour lunch break between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM, adjusted based on workflow.

Position Summary

The QA/QC Tech will be responsible for sample collection of plant leaf powders for laboratory
analysis. Samples are to be collected under the supervision of the QA/QC manager and shipped
out to our third-party lab via UPS. Tasks will include making sticker labels, labeling of conical
tubes with batch numbers, collecting 1000 samples per week, and shipping of samples.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ability to maintain a sterile work environment.
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability/willingness to operate a forklift (Training will be provided if applicant doesn't
    have experience).
  • A basic understanding of chemistry and biology (desired).
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds.
  • Computer competency (intermediate).
  • Ability to stand for up to 6 hours and sit up to 3 hours.
  • Ability to safely use a box cutter.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.

Education and Requirements
  • Educational Background: An Associate degree or higher in a STEM field is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in Quality Control (QC)-1 to 2 years of experience. This position is entry-level, with comprehensive training provided to equip you with the necessary skills.
