Location: Salt Lake City, UT [HYBRID work schedule; 2-3 days in office per week)
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 + Bonus up to 10%

[HYBRID] Compensation & Benefits Specialist Description
Our client is looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to add to their team in Salt Lake City, UT. In this role, you will act as the subject matter expert in US benefits and compensation. You will be responsible for managing and administering benefits and retirement programs and plans. This pivotal role focuses on the strategic development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, sustainable, and compliant with government legislation. To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to research and analyze complex problems and coordinate effective resolution. [HYBRID] Compensation & Benefits Specialist Responsibilities
• Craft and manage compensation structures
• Oversee benefits programs
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• Analyze market trends for salaries and wages benchmarking
• Manage vendor relations
• Guide leadership on pay decisions
• Address employee queries on comp & benefits
• Manage annual renewal of all programs
• Work with local payroll administrators to provide timely communication to employees
• Investigate benefit payment issues for resolution
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Act as the plan administrator for 401(k) plans
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and accruals on benefits
• Manage the administration of disability benefits and documentation
• Administer the US AMEX Corporate Card program
[HYBRID] Compensation & Benefits Specialist Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 3+ years of Payroll/Compensation and benefits experience required
• 2+ years of HRIS experience required
• Health benefits and 401 (k) plan administration and legal compliance experience required
• Advanced Excel skills required
