About JA-Rocky Mountain
JA-Rocky Mountain is part of the world’s largest organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. In partnership with schools, businesses, foundations, and the community this regional operation provides programs to students Kindergarten through 12th grade and young adults up to age 25 in the Front Range and Wyoming. Position Description
Reporting to the Vice President of Programs, this exciting role spearheads the advancement of students across the Denver Metro area through JA classroom programs. Through innovative marketing tactics and a deep commitment to excellence in program delivery, this position drives impact for students and young adults.
This individual will be an integral part of the organization's leadership team, lending creative thinking to the strategic vision and driving impactful change. They will be directly leading and inspiring a squad of dedicated programs team members, guiding them to reach new heights of achievement.

The Role:
Innovation
•Serve as a thought partner in curriculum development and student experience development
•Continuously lead efforts to improve the student experience
Brand Experience
•Ensure JA experiences and programming exceed the expectations of our education and business stakeholders
•Lead high performing team members to provide excellent customer service to volunteers, educators, and students
Program Implementation and Expansion
• Work with educators and leaders to position JA as the region’s premier education partner
•Work with educators and school leadership to position JA as a solution provider
•Develop and drive strategy to engage new schools, educators, and volunteers in JA-Rocky Mountain programming
•Implement programs in assigned K-12 districts and maintain excellent customer service
Leadership
•Hire, develop, coach, and retain high performing team members
•Oversee projects, programs, and events related to classroom programming
•Cultivate a supportive team environment to enhance cooperation, collaboration, and synchronization among team members
Assist on special projects or events as assigned by the Vice President of Programs.
Qualifications:
•Passion for JA’s mission demonstrated by volunteerism and/or previous work experience
•Knowledge of Colorado’s education landscape
•Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to develop and strengthen relationships with current and prospective stakeholders
•Strong sales and communication skills (verbal and written) to engage new schools, educators, and volunteers in JA programming
•Skilled at managing details of projects, programs, and student events
•Outstanding verbal communication skills to inspire teachers and volunteers during both in-person and virtual trainings and small group conversations
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
•Goal-oriented and will thrive under pressure
•Self-motivated and self-directed
•5+ years of experience in education, program management, business sales, or related field
•Proven ability to manage, coach, train, and motivate a high-performing team

Compensation and Benefits:
•This is an exempt position with an annual salary range of $70,000-$95,000.
