New Horizon Community Care seeks individuals to add to our growing team. We seek Part-Time applicants to work with At-Risk Youth in our Therapeutic After-School Program.
The Therapeutic After-School program is designed to support and guide children and adolescents facing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. This program utilizes therapeutic methods, recreation, and psychosocial educational activities to help participants develop coping skills, build resilience, and improve overall well-being.
Location: Chandler.
Individual or Group sessions are provided but not limited to the following: General Mental Health (GMH), Psycho-educational Topics, Anger Management, Emotion Regulation, Grief/Loss/Trauma, Healthy Relationships and Healthy Communication.

New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is a non-profit agency specializing in residential and outpatient behavioral health services, serving at-risk children, teens, and adults all around the valley.
Established in 2001, NHCC has developed a programming structure that challenges, encourages, and empowers clients to enhance their self-esteem and modify their behaviors to become productive community members. Clients participate in activities, groups, and life lessons that help them assess their internal strengths and capabilities and improve decision-making skills. Must Haves: Must meet the minimum state licensing requirement for Behavioral Health Technicians or Para Professionals including candidates must be at least 21 years of age, High School Diploma or GED, experience working with at-risk or behavioral health care with youth, teens, or adults, and a valid AZ Driver's License.

*All positions at NHCC are safety-sensitive, as defined in ARS 23-439. Hours: Applicants must be available between (or close to) Monday - Friday, 1:00 p.m. - to 8:00 p.m., 2 to 4 days a week.
Salary (Based on experience in the field and education): $20.00 - $23.00 an hour
New Horizon Community Care offers an excellent Benefits Package including access to our fleet of company vehicles. Our staff do not transport clients in their personal vehicles.
