Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with the flexibility for local travel to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for supporting our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This position offers flexible hours with occasional local travel requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Represent the company during occasional local travel for client meetings, audits, or other business-related activities.
• Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
• Oversee the submission of tax documents each year to both the state and federal government
• Working on multiple businesses at once.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with proven experience in full-cycle accounting processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with [specific software] is a plus).
• Experience in both federal and state taxes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
• Availability for occasional local travel as needed.

Schedule: Part-Time, 20-25hours per week

Location: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Work-from-home most days is an option. occasional local travel

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
