The Quality Technician role is an entry level position that is responsible for identifying and resolving non-conformances and variances, implementing the STRATACACHE Quality System while following safety standards and supporting STRATACACHE production.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mechanically inclined with strong knowledge of electrical wiring ability; to read schematics and system routing.
• Assist production employees with assembly travelers, procedures, work instructions, and issues log. Approves in-process production by confirming part/product requirements objectively.
• Read and understand drawings & Bill of Materials; Conduct part inspections at receiving & inspection then generate required report; Conduct visual inspections and use final QA inspection forms understand how to record variances; Ability to interpret test results.
• Must be able to use calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, depth gauges, rulers, tape measures, torch wrenches.
• Conduct root cause analysis on non-conformances and variances and be able to report findings.
• Understand the following processes; Control of non-conforming product, corrective/preventive actions, Document Control, Control of records, and auditing.
• Perform other duties as requested

PREFERRED & BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Good attitude
• Must be able to manage time efficiently
• Be able to take initiative
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in team environment.
• Able to learn how to read engineering drawings with little or no help
• Able to learn Stratacache manufacturing processes knowledge
• Able to work overtime when requested (Daily and weekend)
• Computer knowledge - Microsoft Excel, word, power point (a plus)
