Summary
Manages all supply inventory, including shipping and receiving deliveries, inventory, maintains detailed records and provides mail services for the Duly Glen Ellyn location.
Responsibilities
• Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required.
• Tracks orders and investigates problems.
• Records purchase orders, maintains databases, performs physical counts of inventory, and reconciles actual stock counts to computer-generated reports.
• Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
• Maintains accuracy of all counts and ensures accuracy of all information.
• Processes and documents returns as required, following established procedures.
• Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting both internal and external customers and vendors.
• Sorts and delivers mail by department and category, ensuring relevant parties sign for them as required.
• Utilizes sorting machines and similar administrative technology.
• Manages outgoing messages and packages.
• Ensures proper labeling and packaging for outgoing post.
• Arranges for deliveries with delivery companies such as FedEx, USPS, or UPS.
• Forwards misdirected mail.
• Maintains an inventory of mailing supplies, such as envelopes and stamps.
• Signs for certified mail and ensures its delivery.
• Keeps detailed records of all incoming packages, including weight and dimensions.
• Logs incoming mail in company systems.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified preferred.
• MDC Certification (to be provided on-the-job)
• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, and inventory control preferred.
• Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
• Database management experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
• Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
• Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills

• Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 100lbs daily.
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period.
• Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.) or mail processing equipment.
• The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
• The ability to lift approximately 50lbs. daily
