Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our assembly team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing electrical and mechanical components to ensure the successful completion of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to assemble electrical and mechanical components accurately.
Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to assembly instructions and project requirements.
Install and wire electrical components, including sensors, switches, motors, and control panels. (preferred)
Use hand and power tools, soldering equipment, and measuring instruments to perform assembly tasks.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve assembly issues and improve assembly processes.
Document assembly procedures, test results, and any deviations from specifications.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize assembly processes and product quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical or mechanical assembly is preferred.
Proven experience in electrical and mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and components.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Experience with hand and power tools, soldering equipment, and measuring instruments.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in assembly work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
