Imagine360 is currently seeking a Sr. Benefit Administrator (1099, Independent Contractor/Consultant) for a 4 - 6+ month assignment! In this role you are responsible for working in partnership with Imagine360's Client to assist in managing a complex benefits plan that offers significant savings to both client and their employees. You will be responsible for elevating Imagine360 health plan through designing and executing communication and education programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits administration, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for simplifying complex concepts into easily understandable information. This role is critical in ensuring that employees have the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their health benefits and maximize their value.


This Sr. Benefit Administrator (1099, Independent Contractor/Consultant) will work onsite / hybrid in Tampa, FL 33607.


Position Location: Onsite / Hybrid - Tampa, FL 33607. Overnight travel per client need.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build a strategy and serve as a catalyst to generate brand awareness and engagement for Imagine360.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to educate employees about the organization's reference-based pricing health plan program.
  • Collaborate with HR, benefits administrators, and Imagine360 to ensure accuracy and consistency in benefit communications.
  • Partner with Imagine360 's Marketing team to create engaging and informative materials, such as presentations, brochures, videos, newsletters, and FAQs, to explain complex benefit concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Conduct group education sessions, workshops, and webinars to help employees understand their benefit options, coverage levels, enrollment processes, and cost-sharing arrangements.
  • Analyze feedback from employees and HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of benefit education initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.

Required Experience / Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in benefits administration or employee communication (e.g., CEBS, SHRM-CP, HRCI) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, employee communication, or a related field, preferably in a medium to large organization with diverse employee populations.
  • Strong knowledge of health insurance terminology, benefit plan designs, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ACA, HIPAA, ERISA).

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative and engaging communication materials using various formats and channels (e.g., print, digital, presentations).
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and support to employees.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and diplomacy, to effectively engage with employees and address their concerns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, email marketing software).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
