We are currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to be a part of the EPS Group team. This individual should bring a positive energy & enthusiasm to the group. If you are dedicated and driven to uncover new and exciting solutions in a team-oriented environment then EPS Group is for you.    


The HR Specialist is responsible to monitor all Human Resource functions to include compensation and benefit packages; develop & maintain policies, maintain associate records and ensure a healthy and compliant workplace.  The HR Specialist handles personnel issues within the organization, recruits and hires new talent and helps facilitate training and on-boarding into the firm. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES             


  • Assist in developing and executing company policies & procedures to improve efficiencies and the associate experiences
  • Ensures associates have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures to include handbook information
  • Provides guidance to associates on company HR policies and procedures (i.e. PTO, tuition reimbursement, etc.)
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations & applicable labor and hiring laws as well as regulatory reporting requirements
  • Recruiting – posting of the positions, screening, interviewing & hiring
  • Onboarding; ensures the data entered is complete and accurate and ensures a positive candidate hiring experience
  • Maintains files, records and transactions such as hiring, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations and other related personnel and/or payroll events
  • Manage Training and associate development in coordination with Department Managers
  • Tracks and maintains disciplinary actions
  • Manage, maintain and execute Company benefits in coordination with the CFO
  • Provides necessary referral support for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Resolves associate complaints or grievances, or elevates to the Director, as needed


    Key Skills

    • 3-5+ years of experience in Human Resources
    • Resourceful, strong communication and problem-solving skills, high emotional intelligence and discretion
    • Strong working knowledge of employment laws in varying states and ability to appropriately spot employment risk issues
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business-related field, preferred
