Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with account managers and occasionally engage with existing customers
  • Review the open sales order report daily and coordinate with Operations to address any concerns related to Sales
  • Follow up with customers by providing estimated delivery dates after consulting with Operations
  • Keep customers informed about order status (expedites, open order reports, etc.) and share needed information with the Sales Team
  • Manage quotes from assigned account managers
  • Ensure that terms, lead times and other details are correct on quotes and purchase orders
  • Confirm part number revisions with customer when accepting new requests
  • Verify accuracy of PO’s received before sending to customers (i.e. ensure pricing and quoted information matches)
  • Process customer PO’s promptly by entering them into ERP system and sending acknowledgement receipt
  • Handle daily Distributor PO’s and keep track of low sample stock
  • Enter order leads, input and maintain data in CRM system
  • Monitor and update company website as needed, as well as online stores
  • Develop and enhance company’s social media presence
  • Assist in identifying and investigating new trade shows in collaboration with the sales manager, and help organize leads acquired from tradeshows
  • Book conferences, tradeshows, events and organize travel/shipping & receiving arrangements tied to shows
  • Coordinate product demonstrations for trade shows, customers, distributors, etc.
  • Escalate any issues to sales management
  • Miscellaneous Marketing and Sales initiatives as required

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years prior sales support experience

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Word Press, Microsoft365, and CRM systems (preferably NetSuite)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record of initiative
  • High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Interest in hardware technology
  • Must be able to work remotely in the evenings occasionally
