North American Construction Services, Ltd. is hiring a permanent, full-time Sr. Project Manager to join our team in Pinson/Birmingham, AL.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be to:

Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of industrial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project milestones are met.
Manage project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasting, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
Foster effective communication among project team members, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Mentor and coach junior project management staff, contributing to their professional growth and development.
Prepare and present project status reports and presentations to all stakeholders.

Must be willing to travel. This position is up to 70% travel.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering industrial construction projects, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager. No residential candidates, please.
Strong knowledge of industrial construction methodologies, project management techniques, and industry best practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional project teams.
Proficient in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.
CMP or PMP certification is a plus.
Applicant must live in or be willing to relocate to Birmingham, Alabama area.
