Material Handler Warehouse

Material Handler
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Schedule: M-F, 6:30AM to 4PM
Location: Houston, TX 77073

Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for assisting with the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

Essential Job Duties:

• Collaborate and communicate with logistics technicians, sales representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Loading and unloading of incoming containers and outgoing truckload shipments including parts, compressors, and systems.
• Tagging parts and compressors to company requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to use power and hand tools.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent mechanical skills.
• Excellent forklift skills

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma is required
• Forklift training required.

Physical Requirements:

• Will be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Prolonged periods of being in a stationary position.
• Must be able to ascend/ descend on a ladder as needed.
• Must be able to transport up to 50 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

• At minimum an employee is scheduled to work a 40-hour work week. Subject to overtime and possible weekend work depending on workload.
• Employee to log in and out of the designated timeclock.
• Follow all company shop procedures and safety guidelines.
